Our Programs

We serve children ages 15 months to 9 years old. Our goal is to provide your child with a strong foundation, encourage their independence, and instill their natural desire to learn. All our programs are 5 days a week and accredited by the Maryland State Department of Education.

Toddler

15 months to 2 years old

Our modified, traditional Montessori program is tailored to the unique needs of toddlers. Daily activities include circle time, age-appropriate materials and outside play time. To promote independence, we will help your child with toilet training. 

Primary (Pre-K)

2.5 to 5 years old

Our Primary Class is for children who are fully potty trained. We offer a morning class from 8:30 AM – 11:15 AM (Primary AM) or an afternoon class from 12:15 PM – 3:00 PM (Primary PM). Both options can be full day by adding Before/After Care & Summer.

Kindergarten

5 years old

Our Kindergarten Class is for children who are 5 years old and is accredited by the Maryland State Department of Education. In this class, children will increase their concentration and expand their knowledge of various topics, including Coding and Latin. 

Elementary 

6 to 9 years old

Our Elementary Program is a mixed ages class of First Grade, Second Grade, and Third Grade students. In this class, your child will learn how to problem solve, develop good work habits, and expand their knowledge. Your child will progress at their own natural pace. This program meets all the requirements of the public school system and is accredited by the Maryland State Department of Education.

Latin, Coding, & P.E.

Unique to Julia Brown Schools

In addition to our traditional Montessori curriculum, we offer Latin, Coding, and P.E. lessons.
